  16. shotgun wound; in Houston. A large but nimble defensive tackle,
  17. Alm played for Notre Dame and was the Oilers' second-round draft
  18. pick. His closest friend, Sean Lynch, a high school football
  19. teammate, was killed when Alm crashed a new car on a freeway
  20. ramp. Apparently overwhelmed by his role in Lynch's death, Alm
  21. committed suicide.
